Experience

Ines is an experienced environmental and social practitioner with over 10 years of working in the environmental and sustainability services and multilateral development bank industry, underpinned by her technical knowledge gained through her master’s in civil engineering from the University of Sarajevo. She understands the multilaterals’ operational landscape and international best practice in relation to environmental and social issues.

Prior to joining the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance, Ines worked in the environmental consultancy sector for over five years and then, between 2017 and 2023, for the Environment and Sustainability Department of the EBRD.

Ines is the technical lead on MCDF’s work promoting the wider application of MDB environmental and social safeguards among developing countries and emerging market financiers.
