Jesper Andersen holds a M.Sc in International Economics and has worked with development issues for 30+ years across the world. Jesper has focused on project finance - both public and private, project design and monitoring, impact measurement and overall compliance aspects. Jesper has extensive experience in sector planning, partner dialogue as well as strategy and policy development. Jesper has served as board member in both private and public sector investment funds. He has significant experience from work in humanitarian emergencies, conflict and fragility settings. Before rejoining NDF in 2019 Jesper worked in different development financing organisations and funds including the World Bank and the UN. Jesper has also extensive experience in bilateral development cooperation from positions in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs including several postings in Asia and Latin America.
