With thirty years of expertise in environmental assessment, environmental management, environmental monitoring, environmental auditing, and air quality management, Nurlan Djenchuraev is an expert in the field of environmental work. He is presently employed as a Senior Environmental Specialist at the ADB's Office of Safeguards and has a wealth of experience in Central, West, and Southeast Asia. Nurlan currently oversees processing and implementation of environmental safeguards on the ADB’s portfolio in Pakistan. During his more than thirteen years with ADB, he worked closely on several financial intermediaries’ projects in Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and other countries of the region that needed Environmental and Social Management Systems to be established and implemented.
