Experience

Yukihiro Shibuya is a Senior Social Development Specialist (Safeguards) at the Office of Safeguards of the Asian Development Bank. In ADB, Yukihiro was assigned to the Pakistan Resident Mission for two years and has been based in the Uzbekistan Resident Mission since 2023 and overseas processing and implementation of social safeguards on the ADB’s portfolio in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. Yukihiro also overseas regional technical assistance for enhancing social safeguards capacity in Central and West Asian region and supports the capacity building of the clients in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyz, Turkmenistan, and Pakistan.
