David Hendrickson joined the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF) Secretariat as Senior Communications Officer in September 2023.

David leads communications for MCDF, promoting MCDF’s visibility, awareness of its mission to advance sustainable cross-border connectivity infrastructure in developing countries, and international support for this work.

Previously, David was head of outreach at the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) in Tokyo from 2018-2023 and managed media affairs at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Secretariat in Singapore from 2012-2018.

David also draws upon his earlier experience as a Beijing-based business and financial writer and researcher from 2005-2010.

Originally from Washington, DC, David earned masters degrees with honors from the London School of Economics and the Australian National University. He also studied Mandarin to an upper intermediate level at the Beijing Language and Culture University and the Shanghai International Studies University.
