Ines leads technical work by the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF) to promote the wider application of International Financial Institution (IFI) environmental and social safeguards among developing countries and emerging market financiers.

Prior to joining MCDF in January 2023, Ines worked in the Environment and Sustainability Department of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) from 2017-2023. She also worked in the environmental consultancy sector for over five years.

Ines’s understanding of the IFI operational landscape and international best practices related to environmental and social issues is complemented by technical knowledge gained through her master’s in civil engineering from the University of Sarajevo.
