Jenny Lou Fernandez began her role as Platform Officer at the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF) Secretariat in February 2024.

Jenny is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality events for MCDF's Collaboration Platform. She also supports events generally for the MCDF Secretariat as well as the broader work of the Collaboration Platform. She draws upon her experience as an MCDF Event Management Consultant, a role she held from June 2022 to February 2024.

Prior to joining MCDF, Jenny worked in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for 17 years. During the last 12 of these years, she served in ADB’s Treasury Client Solution Division supporting its capacity building and knowledge-sharing activities. She helped manage and conduct high-level regional forums on public debt management and investment management of foreign exchange reserves, country workshops on ADB financial products, and bilateral meetings which helped strengthen relationships with ADB members.

Jenny holds a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness management from the University of the Philippines Los Baños and is completing a master’s in business administration from the Asian Institute of Management. She is also a certified treasury professional.

She is from the Philippines and enjoys cycling and traveling with family and friends.
