Experience

Mr. Joykumar Singh Yumnam is presently working as Project Director Cum Chief Engineer of Externally Aided Projects, Manipur Public Works Department, India. He has an overall work experience of over 35 years in the Government Sectors in the field of Road and Bridge Infrastructure Projects. He has been dealing with projects funded by Multilateral Development Banks, for the last 18(eighteen) years since 2005, like World Bank, Asian Development Bank, JICA and most recently AIIB. As an Engineer he had implemented more than 5 (five) major road projects which involved substantial Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Rehabilitation and Indigineous People both under the old Land Acquisition Act as well as the new Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and Safeguard Policies of MDBs. He has also participated in numbers of workshops, seminars conducted both by the Government Agencies as well as MDBs.
