WHAT WE DO

Capacity Building

The MCDF capacity building activities are focused on enhancing relevant know-how, institutional capacity, and regulatory reform of developing countries and their development partners in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Anti-corruption
  • Debt sustainability
  • Environmental and social safeguards
  • Financial and operational performance improvements
  • Gender equality
  • Inclusion
  • Investment climate
  • Investment cycle capacity building that enhances the integration of standards
  • Risk management, including risks related to environment and Greenhouse Gas emissions
  • Trade facilitation


Capacity building activities are developed in partnership with an IFI Implementing Partner and supported through the Finance Facility.
