Experience

Lusha Francesca Maderal, is the Team Lead of the Grievance Redress Mechanism Workstream of the North-South Commuter Railway Extension Project under the Department of Transportation.

Lusha has a Community Development degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She has 7 years of relevant experience through non-government organizations advocating for human rights, social justice, and equality and 4 years pursuing the implementation of the NSCR-EX Grievance Redress.

Lusha has technical expertise in policymaking for project grievance redress mechanisms (a platform and system for issues and concerns to be resolved through community engagement and mobilization), spanning from design through inclusive consultations to approval and operationalization.
