Alberto works as a Senior Climate Finance Specialist at the AIIB, operationalizing the climate requirements of the Bank. Prior to joining AIIB, Alberto worked for the EBRD in London as a Green Economy Transition Banker and as a Sustainable Connectivity lead. Alberto has also worked on the development of the EU Taxonomy as a drafter on the Technical Expert Group ST8 (Transport) and is one of the founders of FINSMART, a joint initiative between the IMO, EBRD and the World Bank aimed to accelerate the decarbonisation of the shipping industry through new financial products.
