Ingeborg McNicoll MEI, is a Technical Consulting Director with ERM Malaysia and a SME in marine studies, marine surveys and ESIAs.  Ingeborg graduated from Heriot-Watt University in 1979. She has over 40 years’ experience in working in the marine environment, protecting the marine environment for major capital projects for marine industries. Port projects include; Red Flags studies for port locations in West Africa; ESMP for the Construction Phase for a Port Terminal Extension; Strategic Impact Assessment and EMP for 6 jetties/wharf facilities along the coastline of Brunei; ESIA for a marine port for ore export from the Simandou mine in the Republic of Guinea undertaken to meet IFC requirements; and  HSE Risk Assessment, ENVID and Stakeholder Engagement Plan for LNG transfer from ship to port for a gas power station in South Africa. Most recently she is involved with the challenges of meeting the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures.
