Mike Beauchamp is a Civil Engineer with postgraduate degrees in engineering and anthropology. He has worked for ADB since 2013 as a social safeguards specialist, across multiple sectors in Central and West Asia. He has managed resettlement implementation on several complex projects, including large dams and roads in several countries, including Lao PDR, Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Prior to joining ADB he spent almost 30 years as a civil engineer, project manager and team leader for urban water and wastewater development projects in Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. He is currently outposted to Thailand Resident Mission where he is working on sovereign and non-sovereign operations.
