Ms Rakhee Sunar is a Vice President ESG at National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) responsible for ESG integration in the portfolio investment cycle including monitoring of the environment, health and safety system implementation in various sectors like e mobility, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, waste management.

She has 20+ years of experience in the environment, health and safety domain, like EHS Audits, Environment Clearance (EIA), Water & Wastewater and Sanitation Sector, and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting.

Prior to joining NIIF, Rakhee worked with organizations like UNICEF & Public Health Engineering Dept (PHED), National Environmental & Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), JM EnviroNet, Synergy Engr & Env Solutions, Green Circle Inc, and International Certification Services on different EHS services for sectors like Infrastructure, Cement, Iron and Steel, Pharmaceutical, Transportation, Power Plant. Rakhee is a certified lead ISO 14001 (EMS) auditor and conducted many ISO audits across diversified sectors. She was an EIA coordinator for Building and construction projects sector and Functional Area Expert for Air and Water Pollution Monitoring, Prevention and Control, approved by NABET, a government accreditation agency.

Rakhee is a postgraduate in Environmental Sciences and M. Phil in Energy & Environment and has a Certificate in GRI Reporting from KPMG.
