Experience

Ms. Eunice Ajambo is an Economist in the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Namibia. She leads analysis, advisory, resources mobilization, and development cooperation on joint programs for the Sustainable Development Goals. Previously, she was Economic Affairs Officer in the Macroeconomics and Governance Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she led and contributed to high-level policy development and program implementation, coordinating instruments for effective development financing.

Ms. Ajambo worked in New York at the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs and UN Development Programme. She also consulted for the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation in Norway; CDC Group UK, the Harvard China Fund, Enterprising Solutions Global Consulting, Allianz SE, AllAfrica Global Media, and the African Development Bank.

She has actively participated in capacity building activities and high-level meetings, including the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development; Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit; South America Africa-Middle East-Asia Women Summit; Transport Evolution Africa Forum; International Public Private Partnerships Forum; and Economist Events Global Summit.

Ms. Ajambo is a member of the Global Women Leaders Hall of Fame and the CEO Clubs Network. She is an Archbishop Tutu Desmond Fellow for Africa and a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow at Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. She received her master’s in public policy (economic development) from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
