Beatrice Yulo Gomez leads the team of environmental experts that support ADB’s private sector operations, ensuring that projects comply with the Bank’s safeguard policies and environmental requirements. She works closely with project teams, borrowers, and clients to integrate sustainability and risk management into project design and implementation. Her role spans assessment and oversight of projects in the energy, transport, water, agriculture, urban development, and finance sectors across Asia and the Pacific.

Before joining ADB, Beatrice worked as an environmental scientist, specializing in contaminated site assessment and remediation. She holds a master’s degree in Sustainability from the University of Sydney.
