Anand Kumar Srivastava has 32 years in Multilateral, Multinational Organizations, Public and Private Sectors. Currently working as Chief Procurement, NDB, Leading and Managing Operations & Policy, both. He delivered procurement oversight on portfolio of USD 75 Billion financing in 280 projects in 4 continents. As Chief Procurement, he heads the NDB’s procurement division to lead development and implementation policy and operations and reports to the NDB Board on procurement from non-member countries. Anand advises NDB Senior Management on high-risk and complex project design and implementation issues. He is a Member of the MDBs’ Heads of Procurement (HoP) Thematic Group and the contextual Sustainable Public Procurement Working Group.
He worked previously for ~15 years in WBG Procurement in operations, policy implementation, and reforms. In his 16 years pre-World Bank roles, he led teams in Procurement, Management Consulting, and as TTL – Project Appraisal and Supervision, before reaching to President (Infrastructure) position.
Anand has an MBA, ME in Environmental Engineering and PGD in Environmental Management, HIS, Erasmus University, Netherlands.
