Building Capacity for E&S Standards in Connectivity Infrastructure
Supported by a USD829,500 MCDF Finance Facility grant and implemented by AIIB, the Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing: Environment and Social Safeguards project promotes the application of E&S standards and good practices by developing countries and developing country financiers (New Partners) through Community of Practice knowledge-sharing seminars, e-learning, and technical assistance for the preparation of infrastructure projects with high E&S standards.

Accelerating Resilient Road Development and Connectivity in Lao PDR
Supported by a USD735,000 MCDF project preparation grant and implemented by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the Road Development Program in Lao PDR seeks to sustainably enhance the transport capacity and resilience of National Road 13 (NR13), a critical trade route connecting landlocked Lao PDR with neighboring Cambodia, China, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
