Marwa Mostafa Khalil is an Investment Officer at IFC Infrastructure Department based in Cairo, responsible for creating markets, origination, and execution of early-stage development of infrastructure projects in North Africa. Marwa has 24 years of experience in developing strategies, implementing projects, and leading policy dialogues with public and private stakeholders with a focus on the energy sector. Formerly, she worked as an Energy Specialist with the World Bank MENA Energy. Before joining the World Bank Group, she worked for the Ministry of Electricity in Egypt holding several roles including development of policies, regulations, and planning of power systems. Marwa has an MIBA from Eslsca Business School, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering – Cairo University.
