Tarek Ammar is responsible to promote private and financial sector development in RMCs, ensuring that it plays a central role in laying the foundations in the development role of the Bank, in line with the Bank’s 10 Year Strategy and HI 5 initiatives. He is an experienced Corporate Banker and infrastructure with 30 years with a focus on developing countries. During his career, he has been consultant to EU, World Bank taught Credit Risk & SME lending and Economics in Egypt & Africa after serving years in Marketing and Credit sector in Egypt. Internationally he participated in/manage a pipeline of projects in the following countries: Egypt Ethiopia, Djibouti, Ghana, Kenia, Cameron, Uganda, Zambia & Tunisia. He holds a Master Degree in Economics of Finance & Investment from Exeter University (UK), as well as MBA from the American University in Cairo.
