Experience

Dr. Bijaya Jaishi  had worked as Design Engineer for development of different types of Bridge Standard Drawings and implemented them for bridge construction in Nepal. He also worked for implementation of long span arch, suspension and prestressed concrete bridge in country. He checks submissions  for approval of special long span bridges. (120m single span suspension bridge in Dudhkoshi, Jayaramghat, 120m single span arch bridge in Mugling,100m single span suspension Bridge in Bheri, Rukum, 60m single span arch bridge in Tamakoshi,Gumu,Dolakha, 60m box girder bridge in Tamakoshi Manthali etc.) .

In addition he works on design, implementation and management of  performance scenario simulation procedures, analyze performance data for comparison with simulations, liaises with bridge operators and overseas collaborators (e.g. INRIA, France, EPFL,Switzerland, VCE Austria) working on structural health monitoring , prepares papers and give presentations to disseminate research findings , and carries out moderate teaching and supervision for postgraduate students at leading universities globally.
