Drona is a Senior Environmental Specialist at AIIB. Before joining AIIB, he served as a Senior Environmental Specialist at the World Bank for over 15 years. He specializes in managing environmental and social risks and integrating these aspects throughout the project lifecycle. With experience across multiple countries and sectors, Drona has also collaborated with international organizations like ADB, IUCN, and ILO. He holds a master’s in environmental engineering from the University of Liverpool, UK, and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from IIT Roorkee, India. He is fluent in Nepali, English, Hindi, and conversational in Urdu.
