SUMMARY

The Connectivity Investment Conference on Energy Storage brings together selected government officials from developing countries worldwide, International Financial Institution (IFI) staff, financiers, private sector representatives, and other experts to discuss energy storage innovations, trends, lessons learned, and solutions for advancing the sector's sustainability, digital transformation, operational efficiency, and financing.

The conference is co-organized by the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF), Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, CAF – Development Bank of Latin American and the Caribbean, the Eurasian Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, New Development Bank, Trade and Development Bank, World Bank, and China Energy Storage Alliance. The participation of technical teams from these partners in a small conference setting provides unique opportunities for interaction and engagement.

FORMAT

The conference is being held on a by-invitation basis at Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank headquarters in Beijing, China. Speaker presentations and discussions are in English. Participants engaged through small group discussions and question-and-answer sessions at the end of each panel discussion.
