MCDF 2022 ANNUAL REPORT AND AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

It was a challenging but productive year for the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF) – that is the clear message coming through from our just published Annual Report 2022. MCDF navigated a world battered by crises to continue promoting high-quality and sustainable connectivity infrastructure investment through knowledge and financial support. Six new project preparatory grants were approved for connectivity infrastructure projects. They included MCDF’s first project in Africa. The MCDF is now funding work in three continents – Asia, Africa and South America – and MCDF support is expected to result in mobilizing as much as USD2.87 billion. Millions of people will benefit. MCDF is a relatively new global initiative but is steadily increasing capacity and adding to the number of its implementing partners. Our focus is on sharing information, building capacity and assisting with project preparation in countries that want to strengthen connectivity infrastructure.
