Monde Nyambe joined the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF) Secretariat as Senior Investment Specialist – Infrastructure in November 2024.
Monde works on enhancing MCDF’s partnerships, developing its pipeline of proposed connectivity projects seeking MCDF Finance Facility grant support, and reviewing the eligibility of these projects.
Monde previously worked for the African Development Bank Group and other private sector financial institutions. She brings extensive experience on infrastructure finance (early-stage project development to financial closing), rural infrastructure development, project and corporate financing, resource mobilization, and investment management.
Monde holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Zambia and an MBA from Wits Business School and Chicago Booth.
Monde is a national of Zambia and a permanent resident of South Africa. She loves to travel the world at any given opportunity. She moved to Beijing with her daughter, Ariel.
