Experience

Guoping Yu is a Senior Procurement Specialist working in Sustainability and Fiduciary Solutions Department of AIIB, where he provides fiduciary (procurement) services for operations in more than 60 projects including sovereign and non-sovereign backed Bank financed projects, covering ports, roads and bridges, water, wastewater, urban development, agriculture, environment, energy and health sectors etc., carries out procurement capacity building for the clients and project teams and is engaged in providing support to the Bank’s policy department on preparation and updating of the Bank’s policies, directives, Standard Procurement Documents etc. related to procurement.

Before joining the World Bank, Guoping has worked for the World Bank Beijing Office for 14 years. He has over 20 years’ experience in public procurement.
