MCDF is Laying the Groundwork for a Historic Antarctic Submarine Cable

A USD1.68 million MCDF grant is supporting a feasibility study for the first-ever submarine fiber optic cable to Antarctica to deliver reliable communications to global researchers championing scientific discovery on the continent. The project is being implemented by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.
