The Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF) has launched MCDF Photo Contest 2026: Connecting to a Brighter Future. The contest invites amateurs and professionals from all countries and regions to submit up to three original photos, taken by phone or camera, which show how connectivity infrastructure is helping to realize a more prosperous and sustainable world. It reflects MCDF’s mission to promote high-quality connectivity infrastructure investment through partnerships.
All participants have a chance to win cash prizes and see their photos recognized on MCDF’s website, LinkedIn account, and other channels. For staff of International Financial Institutions, country ministries and agencies, and development partners, this is an opportunity to showcase your work to your professional peers and the public.

Photo submissions should reflect one or more of MCDF’s four sector focus areas:
- Transport and Logistics
- Clean and Renewable Energy
- Information and Communications Technology
- Transboundary Water Resource Management (rivers, lakes, canals, seas, etc. that connect one or more countries or regions)
Prizes
- Grand Prize: USD1,000 + Certificate
- 1st Runner Up: USD750 + Certificate
- 2nd Runner Up: USD500 + Certificate
- Consolation Prize (x3): USD100 + Certificate
Selection of Winning Photos
Photo submissions will be shortlisted by the MCDF Secretariat and the winners will be selected by the selection panel comprising the MCDF CEO, members of the MCDF Governing Committee and the MCDF Coordination Committee (CC), and representatives of CC observer countries and institutions.
Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance and clarity of content (40%)
- Technical excellence (30%)
- Creative interpretation of MCDF’s mission (30%)
